You'd think JDate would use better models.

No it's supposed to protect others from you. The only reasoning I've seen is that they are supposed to reduce the distance your fluids travel when you expell them orally or nasally.

Doubley moronic as many join because they can't afford college and use it to get their GI bill making their schooling free*. Hilariously that makes the people who do this, at least financially, smarter than her if their intention is to go to college.

No meds, just the belief that everybody must accept and not question or criticize any part of their world view. They are tolerant and therefor exempt from extending you the same respect.

Do you have that image of all the commies saying what they'll do in their new world? Fucking hilarious.

There is of course a third option that there is a virus that is actually mostly harmless, that leaders kneejerked a reaction be heroes, but are exposing their total incompetence and are refusing to admit fault, and will claim victory when 'herd immunity' is achieved. All while big pharma gets to experiment with drugs that could result in Holy grail treatments for other ailments, on a population that is beaten into submission, for huge profits. Some may die, some may be crippled, but most live.

Not going to read it because I can relate to the title and I'd prefer to share than go down a rabbit hole like that.

Back in my youth I was a misguided coomer who was trying to validate myself by having sex with lots of women. At bars it became very obvious that fat girls were really easy and almost every time I went out a moped would materialize and hit on me, either giving me her number or wanting to take me home. It always grossed me out.

However as I got more lonely, as the porn life tends to do, I hatched a plan. I was going to force myself to be turned on by fat girls and then clean up. Well it only took a couple of months of watching only larger women in porn before I found my first whale to go home with. Unfortunately this started a period of 5 years where I would go home with these girls and regret my decision in the morning and then pretty soon I'd regret it immediately after. My soul was being damaged with every thrust and my self esteem was in the gutter.

I started dating and almost completely stopped watching porn. I would not sleep with girls on the first date or second date , in fact I was dating girls for months without sleeping with them. They would then end things because roasties don't think you are into them if you don't bang.

When I feel like relapsing the urge to see larger women intensifies. This is why I don't believe in kink garbage and homosexuality being natural.

I have literally warped my brain into craving something undesirable by curating what I was watching. I did the same thing with other genres as well. Needless to say, your sexuality is formed by you and you have the power to manipulate it.

So I've been looking a lot closer at this recently and I think I can sum it it fairly succinctly from my perspective.

On face value, there is a virus, it is very contagious and the death rate is low, but due to number of infections, the raw number is comparatively higher than other viruses. If you are to believe the tracked numbers it would be hovering between 1 and 2 %, which is inflated by older people (there are areas where the avg age of death is 80 and I think worldwide its between 70 and 80)

What is happening is we keep hearing about new variants that are more infectious, and then we'll hear cherry picked stories of younger people getting it and dying and of course this causes panic. The actual raw numbers and death rate is almost non existent for these brackets, but its the fear that it could happen that is pushing people to go crazy.

At the same time, there are now articles coming out that are paraphrased to say that the vaccine lowers transmission rates and lowers your chances of being infected. But these are all filled with wishy washy language, eg 'preliminary findings appear to show that the vaccine may lower transmission'

Sounds like good news? It may be, it may not be. Until the actual studies come out and say 'we have seen a reduction in transmission by 50%' or something of that nature, its impossible to know what is meant by 'appear to' and 'may lower' mean. Are we talking margin of error lower or legitimately, undeniably lower?

So many questions. In that same vane, I can't be the only one who has noticed that case numbers are exploding higher than the 'first wave'. This is being blamed on new variants which, again, 'appear to be treated by the vaccine.' There have been 1.3 bn doses administered, should these numbers not be falling? Why are places seeing almost double the infections this time around? Most of these 'new variants' are unconfirmed in places I've looked at, yet the numbers are skyrocketing despite a large % of people getting jabbed.

And finally there is a lot of truth to the lack of knowledge on long term effects. I'm currently digging through studies to try and figure out whats what. There were studies which appeared to be very positive for a zika virus vaccine administered to mice and monke. But that still hasn't reached clinical trials on humans. As far as I could find that and this are the only active trials for mrna vaccines, as the technology that allows it to be possible is less than 5 years old. Covid is the first mrna vaccine developed for use on humans, feel free to correct me, and it has been around for less than a year. Until actual studies can be carried out, I have no interest in playing with cutting edge medical treatments that haven't been battle tested.

On a more personal note, I think the idea is cool, but also fucking spooky. I don't like the idea of biological programming.

If it actually was a tard, he shouldn't be in regular classes, he should be in a separate school or at least in a separate class. I have no issue with them, I have problems with a system that 'leaves no child behind' because it just fucks over everyone else by lowering standards.

The saddest thing to me about this post is that it highlights where we are societally. This person is unwilling to invest his time to make his life better or more affordable. He will invest his time and money into paying for garbage in installments though, because he gets the fruits upfront, but doesn't realize his labor is increased for the trade.

You can see this attitude with his response to learning a new skill as well. Unless he's being intentionally misleading, when someone says take two hours to learn a skill they mean to dedicate that time daily. He takes it as that you will be proficient in one installment, which he rightfully shuts down as being impossible. It didn't even cross his mind that it was meant to be a commitment, because we are a society of instant gratification.
