More destructibility.

Bad Company 2 and Red Faction Guerrilla are good examples.

The game is so fucking obvious at this point. I both pity and envy people who are just along for the ride and are clueless.

How would you rate it next to the original?

If you could only get one, which one would you get?

Interesting lens to view it through.

Do you know if there's an intentional connection there, or is it just some fan made theory?

I agree in 2021 it's practically cancer.

But pedowood has produced some decent pictures over the years. I'd recommend viewing the Critical Drinkers take, because I agree 100%.

When they're on top of their game, they can produce some magnificent art.

They are currently no where near the top of their game.

Agreed. It's hard to differentiate yourself in this genre unless it's something spectacular, and Underwater certainly isn't groundbreaking or a magnificent film.

I will say I like the design of the threat more in this. Deep Star gives it a close run for it's money though lol.

But yeah, these films always seem to be about a mining team discovering or tasked with some plot. 1989 was the year for underwaters, and The Abyss blew them all away.

Ehhh tough to say with this one.

If you're not really a collector, or just have a few favorites, I'd say skip it. But I'll always tell people to have a physical collection. If you're into owning everything you've seen, then it may be worth picking up for the collection.

I've stopped anticipating titles.

My big ones were back in the day: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, Chivalry Medieval Warfare.

Or is that the propaganda from a victorious nation?

"Lol of course we crushed that drug using, child molesting, jew bruning MONSTER! We're the good guys!"

Trust me, you're a useless eater who will come biting at my door when the shit hits the fan. "May I have some canned goods? Please, sir?"

Only inept farts and trolls brag about how "prepped" they are, and only trolls argue about it on the internet. "Dawg, I'm so much more prepped and am so much more enlightened than you I'm going to brag about it on the interwebz!"

Get lost you fucking reddit fag.

I think 3 would be complicated enough to balance with the terrain modification aspect.

I'd put 6 in if I thought the balance would work out.

Man, what a buzzkill lol.

Of course you're right, but you don't have to crush my little shitty game dream. Tell me the concept is cool at least.

I don't want to make an RTS with dildo units, mung race and defecation harvesting even if I execute it well.

Haha it's that freewill bot.

Sometimes I get irritated and punch things in to see what it will respond to.

I had considered this and you're spot on.

One race burrows into the ground, the other modifies and lives on top, the third...

Yeah, ran into a block here. Do I make them fly? Do I make them floaty race that somehow has to tend the ground they're over to survive?

Maybe a water race that has to live by water and process water for their technology to work?

Or do I make the race a total virus, destroyer of land? Just creep that seeps across the earth?

Like you said, the problem is finding a good 3rd match that mixes well with the terrain modification aspect.

"Your bug race sounds like it is being partly done by Empires Of The Undergrowth which is an RTS with realistic real-world insects."

Love this game. Been playing a while now and it just rushes memories back of SImAnt. Slug Disco Studios deserve their credit, because no one makes ant games anymore.

"I must say that this all sounds like 3 games worth of work"

I think this is what it would take to breathe life back into the genre. No more shortcuts, no more half measures. The genre needs real innovation and it needs to give people something they've never played before.

I'm not saying my idea is it, butt he next grounbreaking RTS, if it ever launches, should have about 3 games worth of work put into it in my opinion.
