So I know this is not what your posting here but their used to be a show called fat to fit. The trainer would get fat (or gain the amount of weight the trainee needed to lose) and then lose the weight with them. It was actually pretty entertaining.

I quit drinking it regularly when I nursed my children and then I read a book about it just for fun( Caffeine by Michael pollen FYI) That made me not want to have caffeine on top of the fact that it makes me feel crazy now. I can’t have more than a tiny bit. I drink decaf coffee just because I love coffee and the traces of caffeine in that are enough for me. So yes I’m with you. I know coffee is good and people drink it all the time but honestly I don’t think it’s good for us. To each his own of course.

I read that the neon blue helped get a more blue color cause the sugar is a bit yellow when cooked so makes it a little green when you use plain blue. But I didn’t mind that either.

Yes I have seen that done before! May have to try that sometime. Looks fairly easy

It was actually really easy to make. Here is the link… https://www.pamspartyandpracticaltips.com/2014/01/elsas-ice-candy_17.html?m=1. It’s just sugar, corn syrup and water. If you want that color you have to use white sugar and just a few drops of food coloring. Neon blue works better I have read. I had to read all the comments to get that information. Once it was cooled off I just knocked the pan down on stuff till it broke up nicely lol. I put a couple drops of doterra peppermint essential oil in mine (therapeutic grade so it was ok to eat). So it tasted like very mild peppermint candy.

If you still just want pills I take standard process brand. They were recommended by my nutritionist

Thank you! I might have gone a bit overboard with the ice on top but I was excited lol.

It’s just sugar and corn syrup and water. Basically hard candy. It was surprisingly easy to make and tasty.

I don’t know but I used to drink it every day. Worked at a coffee shop and I still love the taste of it.

If you read the book caffeine by Michael pollan you might not want to drink caffeine anymore like me lol. If I drank a cup of coffee now it would screw me up for days haha. Just too much.

I don’t know what is best but I have learned to be careful with the ones who make it with baking soda. It can make you break out under your arms. Not pretty. I mostly use TOMs and I buy old spice aluminum free for my hubby. Just have not found anything better yet.

Yes it’s sad you really have to go in knowing what you want ahead of time or they start you down a road to a c section almost every time.

Well after struggling with medication on and off for a year or so I went to a chiropractor for help. This chiropractor dabbled in nutrition although he is not technically a nutritionist. He helped me see how to start this journey of knowledge and healing. (He had me do a good sensitivity test. Expensive but it was a start) After that I got into Natural birth and learned so much about that I’m a huge advocate for that as well. Side note: I birthed my first child naturally in a birth center and I birthed my twin girls after that in a hospital naturally as well. Often it can be done if you set your mind to it but that’s another story. So then I moved to another state and found a chiropractor who was also a nutritionist and he helped me even more. One of the biggest things I had to do was give up all grains dairy and sugar from my diet. It’s not easy and I have never done it perfectly for more than a week. He also started me on supplements including probiotics. The supplements were something I could also take more of if I was feeling a flair up come on. Over the years you just learn things from different places. The information is out there if you realize that doctors don’t know everything and they don’t have a monopoly on information. I don’t dislike all doctors but in general it’s your body and you have to make sure your doing what is best for yourself. I will also add that I take care of myself in all the ways I can. I exercise, cut out caffeine, get proper sleep, and study and follow the teachings of the Bible. Trying to be healthy all around probably helps too.

Similar story for my husband’s grandmother. His mom couldn’t go visit and make sure she was eating good. She beat COVID but then died a few weeks later cause no one could help her like they used to.

I live in FL and although I hardly ever wear a mask ( typically I will wear one of someone specially asks me to but that’s rare) a good majority of people here still wear them. At least where I live in Central FL they do. I do not get it!
