Over here on the other side of the world the conflict is completely irrelevant to us hence why supporting Ukraine in this fashion makes zero sense. But I’m not going to crucify countries not that far from the front line from their own concerns.

Russia has some of the worst demographics other than China.
If they take over a good chunk of Ukraine that would greatly increase their population. That might be part of the equation here too.
