Saw it today. It was good matinee. It's not woke. It feels like the script was made about 10-15 years ago. Special effects are really good. If you like dark humor this movie has it. I'd rather watch that again than another Rainbow-Bright version of Star Wars.
It's okay only because all the "comedy" movies from the last decade have been so comparably terrible. It's also one of those movies where too many of the jokes revolve around a child saying "fuck," which IMO is a dumb trope that stems from lazy writing. I honestly wouldn't see it again and it's a shame this was the last movie Ray Liotta did before he died.
Pablo Escobear. Movie was funny without being too campy. More gore than I expected but some of it was funny like Marvin getting his head blown off in Pulp Fiction or the camper in their down sleeping bag getting thrown against a boulder in the movie Prophecy. I laugh everytime I see those sleeping bag feathers.
Last I knew the body prop piece for Marvin in Pulp Fiction, after having his head blown off, was at a video store called Movie Madness in Portland, OR about 20 years ago. Crude. It barely looked like a torso.
"Man this is stupid!!! Another movie with poor trigger and muzzle discipline and ...."
BANG!!!
Oh...well... Yeah... That is the sorta thing that would happen. Hmm. I guess they get a pass on this one.
I love that movie <3 But... it was one of the first I saw that was pushing environmentalism/pollution concerns. Otherwise it's a goofy graphic violence comedy, it's one of my all-time favorites <3
I can't believe Elizabeth banks directed this movie... she's become an unhinged feminist. It's getting pretty good reviews... from what people are saying, it's a good time. I will likely watch it at some point.
Anyone know if this movie is worth watching?

Rainbow bright got me critically hit right in the feels lol
Watched it in theaters last night
It was fun and goofy, don't take it seriously
I like fun and goofy movies. Last movie like that I saw and liked was Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.
Bear mauls people and fiends for cocaine, if you're down with 80s style humor and kid's doing edgy stuff then I think you'll enjoy it.
That’s a really good movie!
Wait, really? Don't take a movie about a drugged up bear hunting people down seriously?
I liked it a lot. It was good splattery fun.

The Marvin scene was insane when I first saw it. It's jaw dropping stuff lol.
