Books are physical and cannot be deleted, this is an important step to enslave us even more securely. It will reach a point where books aren't even printed anymore.
Globalist elites & serfs is the goal, a modern day feudalism where the plebs have declining living standards and can barely afford food, energy and housing.
Additoonally, real books, not e-books, have solid life advice and cannot be manipulated by cenosrs. Lord forbid "misinformation" be released into society that the overlords cannot control!
Lots of people switching away from video entirely and just going to books for entertainment.
It's a lot easier for non woke writers to make a good book without the fascist system's support than it is for non woke movie makers to make a good movie without the fascist system's support.
We need a marketplace for non-woke authors. You’d be shocked at how many independent authors just continue their leftist screeching in their books. It’s hard to sort through.
Its hard to find. I'm an avid reader and its REALLY hard to get through the horde of woke/tranny cultist books.
For those that don't read a lot of fiction, if you think hollywood is bad, the fiction industry is WAY worse, just not as popular. My wife picked up a book she thought would be great from an author she liked in the past, in the 2nd page it was already hating on a straight white girl for not wanting a tranny and she returned it immediately.
I know there are new authors writing conservative and masculine books, but they are really hard to find. I'm usually going to books from the early 20th century, but I want more modern books as well.
This is not because of a high number of woke authors its because a majority of book stores are leftist owned organizations who only stock those kinds of books.
Look for independent selfpublished authors on Amazon. There are plenty of non-woke stories there. Just search under your favorite types of stories and you'll find them.
When I visit someone's house, I always look at their books and find a title, any title, to ask them about.
The worst people have no books in sight.
Your bookshelf tells a lot about you. Make sure the bookshelf reflects the owner. It's not difficult to tell who's books are just to show off and who's books are the owner's tools & resources for - whatever. Talk about their books! Beware if there are none!
When I was a little kid I’d go into peoples houses and be astonished there were no books. I’d ask “where are your books” because I was dying to see what they had so I could snatch one off the shelf and start reading. Too many people just didn’t have books and it is sad and pathetic.
Came here to say EXACTLY this. And this is why I obsessively collect old books. I used to go to yard sales all the time to find books. I have hundreds of them, and I teach my kids that nobody can take or edit this physical copy, unlike the internet.
Paper books cannot be stealth-edited or disappeared at the whim of your rulers. Therefore the One-World crowd needs for you to turn in your books. This can be done voluntarily, or the Hard Way.
Same thing with the constitution. They'd love to stealth edit it, but they can't because of the original copy and because of all the printed copies. They wouldn't be able to convince enough people their stealth edits were always there.
They can program people who only have phones and computers.
They know that those with books, atlases, encyclopedia, Art of the Deal, are not going to be brainwashed as easily.
Then again, so many are illiterate these days, with schools pushing out people who cannot write, and they spell using some sort of alpha-numeric phone language.
The trick is to go to a liquor store and ask if they have any boxes they're throwing out. Those liquor boxes are built thick and have no problem being loaded with books.
E-readers are nice, but the problem is eventually that will erase itself just after sitting for 50 years, if it isn't broken in a junkyard by then. That means every book on it will be lost to future generations. That's the inherent problem with a digital world...it's very short term and there's no knowledge to leave behind for future generations.
I remember as a kid I would just peruse the encyclopedia's and other books we had. Now kids just look it up online, where any number of changes can be made to alter the definition of words or characterization of an event, or completely new words or false events created. It's a foundation of Democrats fuckery.
No. Individual readers will disappear, as did my 1990s Casio Cassiopeia PDA. My ebooks live on. Microsoft abandoned the LIT format, but they've been converted to current epubs.
I remove DRM from the books I buy and make the changes necessary for me to READ the books I buy. Vision issues make it impossible to read printed books any longer. Publishers sometimes make decisions about their ebooks that remove user options that should be available. They decide to force serif fonts (unreadable for me) or miniscule font sizes (also unreadable).
I also tend to fix purely stupid things that annoy me, like 3 forced page breaks for each chapter heading. Readable, just annoying.
The point is it can all be easily wiped with very little effort, and wipes itself over time too. Obviously books don't last forever either, but they do last longer than any electronic storage device currently. A book can sit in a basement and get found again a century later. All ebooks come from servers and databases that can be easily manipulated or erased. Servers don't last forever either, as they are part of a business that requires active logistics to support continued operation.
I will never understand why all the hate toward the middle class they say book ownership is "smug" and "middle class" yet watch any news interview with an elitist and what's behind them...shelves upon shelves of books (and often seemingly the same books in the same room for damn near everyone which is odd)
Nothing wrong with owning books of course but there is also something wrong with people who think owning books makes them some elite intellectual. People who read for entertainment can get a bit uppity about the act, raising themselves up to levels of humanity that they use as a cathartic attack on people they only think don't also participate. So you've read yet another classic fiction novel? Does that raise you to the level of intellectual and moral superior? For many, that seems to be the case. If nerd rage wasn't a thing then it wouldn't be such a big deal.
i keep my books... coz if i give them away they might be tossed in a fire somewhere. make no mistake whenever they get hostile toward books, they mean the Bible. it is the great book, the first book, the book that changed the whole damned world. we preserve books because that's how we got the books we have... ancient goat fuckers preserved their writings. God only knows what knowledge has been vaporized.
Books are physical and cannot be deleted, this is an important step to enslave us even more securely. It will reach a point where books aren't even printed anymore.
Or more importantly in the short term, cannot be edited. Like the catalog of mental illness, or the dictionary, or Epstein's flight logs.
A dictionary of the English language written in English? Pure rAyCiSS - Get rid of them all now!
Next time i see a set of world book encyclopedias for free on Craigslist I’m going to grab them
The older, the better.
Owning books is middle class? And is middle class a bad thing?
Globalist elites & serfs is the goal, a modern day feudalism where the plebs have declining living standards and can barely afford food, energy and housing.
Additoonally, real books, not e-books, have solid life advice and cannot be manipulated by cenosrs. Lord forbid "misinformation" be released into society that the overlords cannot control!
The way they are trying to get rid of the middle class you would think so right?
Being middle class is bourgeoisie, owning nothing is much more inclusive.
Lots of people switching away from video entirely and just going to books for entertainment.

Reading non-approved literature is racist and contributes to global warming.

The author of this article was named after a Fleetwood Mac song.
Hippy parents detected
no
"Rhiannon" in ancient Welsh history was a goddess of the moon and of fertility
Fleetwood Mac borrowed the name, not the other way around
When everything is online the truth can be edited.
Came here to say EXACTLY this. And this is why I obsessively collect old books. I used to go to yard sales all the time to find books. I have hundreds of them, and I teach my kids that nobody can take or edit this physical copy, unlike the internet.
I love how middle class is a pejorative
Grandkids came for a visit and the interwebs went down.
I showed them my library. Hardcover, softcover and several comic books.
"These are 'Truly Green Kindles' No power or interwebs needed.".
I've also made a deal with them. Toys and games for birthday or Christmas only. Books any time you want one.
Oops. This is getting expensive with 7 kids. 😁

What miserable lives these "everything-is-problematic" people lead. Critical, mean-spirited, and sad little people.
I only got an e-reader because I ran out of shelf space. If I had the house space for it, I'd have a frickin' library.
They SUUUUUCK to move if you move. That’s the worst thing about books, moving them!

Smug and "miDdLe cLaSs"???
So, are they now openly attacking the middle class after decades of quietly undermining it?
I will never understand why all the hate toward the middle class they say book ownership is "smug" and "middle class" yet watch any news interview with an elitist and what's behind them...shelves upon shelves of books (and often seemingly the same books in the same room for damn near everyone which is odd)
They really hate it when middle class plebs act like they're just as good as the "elites".
Already ratcheting up the book burning talk? How progressive!
I'm guessing it's also racist and full of white privilege.
The Grauniad calling something "smug and middle class" lmao
Nothing wrong with owning books of course but there is also something wrong with people who think owning books makes them some elite intellectual. People who read for entertainment can get a bit uppity about the act, raising themselves up to levels of humanity that they use as a cathartic attack on people they only think don't also participate. Well, when you read a book and then see see the movie adaptation for the book, you get a stark view of the shitshow that is entertainment.
Can you imagine what a Hollywood production of "1984" would look like today?
We're living it....
That's partly why despite being an avid novel reader I just can't get into "classics." There's just too much gatekeeping and elitism surrounding them.
Glad I started reading classics before I was old enough to know about the elites. 😊
oh no, not middle class. the horror.
I too have read Fahrenheit 451.
i keep my books... coz if i give them away they might be tossed in a fire somewhere. make no mistake whenever they get hostile toward books, they mean the Bible. it is the great book, the first book, the book that changed the whole damned world. we preserve books because that's how we got the books we have... ancient goat fuckers preserved their writings. The burning of Alexandria was one of the greatest tragedies to befall civilization.
Imagine her regret when they shut off her natural gas and she realizes she could have burnt those socialist propaganda pieces to stay warm....
