We need to have a serious talk about the GOP. Within a 2yr period they've become what we used to oppose and they are actively hateful of White voters. (media.patriots.win)

the ONLY reason most of us voted trump in 2015 was because he was neither a republican not a Democrat

he went to war against the GOP and establishment Republican policies almost harder than against Dems

everyone hated the GOP. even conservatives

regardless of weather u think trump sold out or not one thing is clear: anyone still defending or voting for republicans is a traitor

the Republican party needs to die. all Americans agree. both the right and the left

stop voting for them

something better will take its place

Mentioned before to people I know, that I'm pretty much ready for the American version of Hitler. Not Hitler and National Socialism, since those were German solutions to a German problem faced by Germans in a period of time where everyone was going mad over "scientific society" and the like, but something American as a solution to American problems faced by Americans in this period of time where everyone is going fucking mad, or feckless at best. Definitely not some Wilson/Roosevelt figure either. Not like I'll get any of the things I'd want from either party.

If "Liberalism" has brought us to this, of what use was it? Rousseau was right about liberalism.

And what's your fucking alternative, buckaroo? Free speech? What did that get us? Oh right permanent communist rule. Free elections? What did that get us? Oh right permanent communist rule. Equal protection under the law? What did that get us? Oh right permanent communist rule. Freedom from illegal search and seizure? Permanent communist rule. Right to due process? Permanent communist rule.

What did believing gays can do what they want in their bedrooms get us? What did trying to extend the Platinum Plan to blacks get us? What did fucking anything get us?

Literally not a single American ideal you cherish, not even the second amendment, did even the slightest thing to prevent what happened. The country is going to be minority-White in only about one more decade. It's a welfare state for dindus and wetbacks while elites wage-slave the Whites to pay for their handouts. Most Whites have been so broken that they hate their own race and want themselves exterminated.

Admit it, it's fucking over. There does not exist any timeline in the future where you're going to be free ever again. It's done. Do you think the left will just quit one day? That we'll magically undo decades of conservative greed, avarice, and covetousness that led to apathy and worthlessness and that we'll all magically get along again and agree to live and let live?

It's fucking done.

But he’s not saying we’re doomed. He’s saying stop relying on failed methods because they don’t work. A libertarian outlook, like the US was initially conceived to be, only works in a mono ethnic society (which the US was also conceived to be.).

We can have that world of liberty again, but we need to rip the country back to 1790s values and peoples. We’re not going to get that by being fair and equitable to everyone.

Bottom line: what he’s saying is that tyranny has already arrived. The only thing we can do at this point is try to wield it against those who would crush us with it, because it’s too late to stop it from coming.

The level of retardation here is getting out of hand.

"The government is bad therefore we need to have an even more powerful dictatorship style government run by someone even more evil, in fact let's reference one of the most evil people in all of recorded history"

You make Kanye sound smart.

I like your argument: basically anything you don't like is proof that everything ever done was wrong/bad.

If I save a baby from choking and the baby votes for a Democrat, then I did a bad thing.

You need to lay off the news for a day and take a walk.

We need the federal government to have LESS power, as was originally intended. And even at state level, vaccine mandates and shutting down businesses and inventing new taxes without even a vote, should all be impossible. Just because these things are hard to do doesn't mean we need Hitler. Trump was the opposite of Hitler and he had a huge, massive impact and woke up at least half the country. Just because we don't have full heaven on earth yet doesn't mean it was a failure.

If Trump had any balls or brains he'd have opened his 2024 run with a third party nomination.

Only a fucking retard would think he's going to win in 2024. He won't. He's 100% going to lose, just by the fraud that's now codified law in every state he needs to win. He can't win Nevada or Michigan or Pennsylvania or Arizona anymore. It's over.

If he ran as a third party he would scare the shit out of the establishment GOP because they know enough voters would follow Trump to completely ruin the Republicans. He then would have leverage. Both of them could play chicken and see who breaks first, but Trump has no reason to break.

Trump has zero leverage. He has the opposite of leverage. They can slam him with indictments whenever they want. They have him over the barrel. He didn't even fucking try.

Trump gave up the game without even playing.

The grass roots has been trying to "take over" the Republican part since Goldwater, and hasn't succeeded once. We have 6 decades of failure to learn from.

The rules are rigged. It is literally not possible to take it over.

It makes me sad that people don't understand this and haven't learned yet.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– BeefyBelisarius 2 points 109 days ago +2 / -0

Unfortunately, the rules are also rigged to keep 3rd parties out of power. Just look at how they changed the rules for getting into a presidential debate after Ross Perot managed to get into one.

So, the first goal of a hypothetical America first party would be the complete and utter destruction of the GOP, which would be a hard sell to normies who don't understand that they've been repeatedly betrayed.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 0 ▼
– DonJr2024 0 points 109 days ago +1 / -1

That's really ignoring the fact that Trump literally took it over and became President. And the party now has other members that are pro Trump. They are still way too few, but it's better than nothing.

A 3rd party will go absolutely nowhere and the proof of that is self evident.

Trump DID take over and become Pres.

No 3rd party has ever gotten anywhere at all.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– Cetera 2 points 109 days ago +2 / -0

No, Trump didn't take it over. None of his people were ever in charge of the RNC. The RNC made little motions here and there to "support" Trump while actively working in the background against him, stabbing him in the back, and when it became convenient going to full-on war against him.

Being President does not make one in charge of the party. The party has almost no one that is pro-Trump.

A 3rd party will go absolutely nowhere and the proof of that is self evident.

It not only is not self-evident, it is completely counter-factual historically. A 3rd party would absolutely lose, lose, lose in the short term. But it would also likely destroy the GOP and become viable after a few cycles.

No 3rd party has ever gotten anywhere at all.

Also incorrect historically.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– DonJr2024 1 point 109 days ago +1 / -0

I agree with you but the only option is to take over the RNC. Progress has been made. Trump will win the nomination again and with every election cycle we gain a few more MAGA members. Starting a new party now would set us back and make it even harder. The RNC is useless and no one likes them. They are prime picking. It's the best option we have and we have made the hardest inroad - the beginning. We're trying to move a giant boulder and we have at least budged it.

I'm really on the same side here. What we want is simple. There is no need to bring Hitler into it or abort what has at least worked a bit. The next 2 years, followed by hopefully 4 years of Trump as President, can lay all kinds of groundwork for change.

And then Don Jr baby.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼

It's the best option we have and we have made the hardest inroad - the beginning. We're trying to move a giant boulder and we have at least budged it.

I love your enthusiasm, but you're just flat-out incorrect. Our side has been thinking they've made inroads and had their "beginning" moment towards change for literally 58 years now, starting from when Barry Goldwater fought to win the GOP nomination for president from a bunch of other GOP cronies way back in 1964. And he'd been fighting for years prior to that.

The boulder hasn't moved. It hasn't budged. People don't want to acknowledge that fact, because it is an easy road to despair and hopelessness. But continuing to emulate Sisyphus in trying to roll a boulder uphill for eternity and never, ever succeeding is not a recipe for success.

Trump will win the nomination again

The GOP is going to do everything they can to stop him. It is by no means a sure thing. At this point, I think the odds are only slightly better than 50%.

and with every election cycle we gain a few more MAGA members.

This is completely false. MAGA members were not the ones winning elections in 2022. Did you know that in every election cycle since 1980 where one party controlled both houses of Congress and the White House, the opposing party picked up the House easily? Every time. In several cases, they picked up the senate too.

Every single time. You know what MAGA accomplished this election cycle, with the most unpopular president in modern history, with the worst inflation in 50+ years, with the worst economic situation since the 1970s that ushered in the 49-state victory for Ronald Reagan? MAGA barely squeezed out taking back the House, lost the Senate, and lost governorships. And a lot of those Republicans that DID win are GOP types, not MAGA types.

Trump claims 94% endorsement success, but a lot of that is just bullshit too. He endorsed tons of safe candidates in red areas, candidates who were running unopposed, and lots and lots of GOPe candidates who are actively against MAGA, like Kevin McCarthy.

MAGA lost spectacularly this election. Was it due to fraud and shenanigans? Of course! But what has changed? Nothing. Will there be fraud and shenanigans again next time? Of course!

Hard to argue and I appreciate that you aren't blaming Trump.

I just think we have a 1/100,000,000 chance of taking over the GOP.

And a 0/100,000,000 chance of taking over as a 3rd party.

There are about 40,000 people in my county. About half the adults are Republicans. That's about 10,000 Republicans. If we get 40 at the monthly county party meetings, it's a great turnout. That is about what happens in every county in the state. Fifty - just 50 - MAGA patriots in each county and we could get rid of the RINOs running the party.
