The ladies can't help but to ask for some range time. 60% of the time you go shooting EVERY time.

15
Dr_Fister 15 points ago +15 / -0

well played sir

60% of the time... works every time.

That is not getting high its a dying brain…. Met a real life beaves and buthead they huffed pain thinner all the time. Clinically retarded, could see the lights go out in mid sentence as the brain tried to reset to keep the heart beating and to remind them to breath

36
Skogin 36 points ago +39 / -3

Calm down, Karen. It’s nowhere near as dangerous as GloboHomo brainwashing.

12
Sarsen1776 12 points ago +15 / -3

This is not true. Globohomo requires your acceptance, brain damage from VOC's does not give a fuck about anything except chemistry.

14
AndrewLB 14 points ago +15 / -1

some Short duration fumes aren’t hurting anyone, and comparing that to actively huffing a much more dangerous product like paint thinner which contains methanol, a highly toxic alcohol, is seriously democrat level stupid.

-7
Nomad899 -7 points ago +6 / -13

Ok you stay in small unventilated spaces and clean all you want… i will not… have fun, you do you and enjoy yourself and your heightened levels of superiority

Shut up, fartknocker!

7
FuckReddit4545 7 points ago +7 / -0

I met them as well. Woke up tons of crack heads, drunks, junkies, you name it. Walked up on two guys huffing and I have never seen total brain loss to that extent. They were gone, probably dead by now.

3
Dirk_Diggler 3 points ago +3 / -0

Like I’m walking on sunshine.. Seriously though, same thing when I meet anyone who works with fiberglass work, like pool installers or auto-body work. Brains are fucking toast.

2
NateBedfordForrest 2 points ago +3 / -1

Fucking hilarious. Was it wrong to always root for the vices instead of the crackheads while watching that show?

2
Dirk_Diggler 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not at all. When someone fucks up or makes a mistake, depending on what it is, you can feel bad for them and empathize with them. When someone continually fucks up, making the same fucking “mistakes” day-in, day-out, fuck’em laugh at their example. Use their life story to make you not feel so bad about yours when you mess up from time to time.

It's like if diesel came in banana scented

6
Induceddrag 6 points ago +6 / -0

I lived in a hippie town where there was a co-op selling biodiesel they made from restaurant cooking oil. No way I could drive a truck that smelled like french fries, I would be hitting every drive thru in town.

Amyl acetate has been added to fuel oil in the past.

1
Mungo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oddly accurate.

13
Shayhawk 13 points ago +13 / -0

And its a good mixer with Diet Coke too

36
slangin_paint 36 points ago +36 / -0

I know you are just making a joke, but i really don't think it is safe to ingest a toxic chemical cocktail manufactured by a shady company. Why not just drink the Hoppes straight, like God intended?

8
LordScatmanJohn 8 points ago +8 / -0

Perfect.

-5
AndrewLB -5 points ago +3 / -8

A shady company? They’ve been in business for 120 years and make some of the most tried and true gun cleaning products out there. I think it would make a great come additive.... for the next DNC convention.

23
Probably-Pooping 23 points ago +23 / -0

He was talking about Coca Cola being the shady company, fren.

Open a window when you clean your guns - It will help you think clearer.

kerosene, ethyl alcohol, oleic acid, amyl acetate and ammonium hydroxide are all reportedly in this cleaning solvent. I am a novice chemical enthusiasts (no not drugs, literally the field of chemistry) it is likely the amyl acetate/kerosene mixed with a little ethyl alcohol causing this. That being said ammonium hydroxide can precipitate in the lungs and cause fluid build up. All of these chemicals are incredibly volatile (evaporation). Sorry, I thoroughly enjoy chemistry

14
friedchicken 14 points ago +15 / -1

My love of chemistry started my shear hatred for the government and its hypocrisy and stupidity.

Fuck the ATF

5
grantking2256 5 points ago +5 / -0

The government absolutely is dumb. A lot of ban from purchase substances can be easily made at home with common chemicals. Also wanting to know how sodium reacts in water and how to extract white phosphorus shouldnt be any of the governments business but im probably on a list because of it

4
friedchicken 4 points ago +5 / -1

The government would rather the youth get blasted by drugs than actually learn something for themselves. The federal government needs to be curtailed and in a big way.

4
TeamMAGA 4 points ago +4 / -0

Bro, it's the unelected bidet regime - If you are not on multiple lists by now then you ain't a patriot

2
1080pleb 2 points ago +2 / -0

This book contains a lot more info along those lines. Enjoy.

2
posedgeclk 2 points ago +2 / -0

Kerosene is not nearly volatile enough. Leave a 10mL beaker of kerosene outside under the deck for a few days. Come back and tell me how much loss you have.Amyl acetate + EtOH is more plausible. Just not the kerosene.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
1
grantking2256 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah you're right, mostly would have to actively huff kerosene to even begin to feel the sideeffects

2
JoePlumber 2 points ago +2 / -0

I used Breakthrough Clean Technologies' Battle Born solvent and oil. it has no smell and doesn't affect me at all.

2
Libertardian 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks. Now we know why "well ventilated."

11
Destineed369 11 points ago +11 / -0

What about hoppes 1-8?

23
gaijin_ronin 23 points ago +23 / -0

Too strong. They had to dial it back. Just like Formula 409. 1-408, now that was a debacle.

12
Destineed369 12 points ago +12 / -0

God I remember 405. What a nightmare! Lol

16

7
Destineed369 7 points ago +7 / -0

Fun fact: Albert Hoffman discovered lsd (Lsd-25)!by accident as he was experimenting with ergot fungus to make a pharmaceutical to help with (I think) angina and heart problems. It was the 25th in a series of lysergide compounds. I’m not sure if he kept experimenting after 25 but I imagine he did as it was a while before he intentionally tried lsd.

1
Weloveflyovercountry 1 point ago +1 / -0

back then it was standard for chemists to touch, taste, and smell their concoctions. as we was bikng home after work he started trippping ballls and knew he discovered Something.

2
Destineed369 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. Then a couple years later in ‘38 I think he actually synthesized it to try as a chemical itself.

Another fun fact (theory?) - the Salem which trials were have said to have originated from ergot fungus tainted rye bread (containing lysergides), causing mass hysteria or mass formation psychosis.

1
Weloveflyovercountry 1 point ago +1 / -0

didnt know he synthesized it just thought it was isolated. mustve made a bundle for the company he worked for especially from the CIA .forgot name at moment of company..yeah there are still ergot poisoning outbreaks every once in awhhile though for the most part the US has quality control on especially rye for that reason. i think its called st elmos fire. i think ergot acts as an abortificient. that plus acting shit faced in the woods probly led the puritans to accuse them as being demonic. though i figure if a hair was out of place you could be accused of being a devil worshipper back then and there..........edit duuhhhhhh not st elmos fire (an electrical weather phenom but i am sure some people tryping see something similair) . shouldve said st ANTHONYS fire.

5
Dontstopbelieving 5 points ago +5 / -0

We put 405 in our hair to look nice for church

1

5
Groupthinkgroupthink 5 points ago +6 / -1

This is the way

3
BallsackPaneer 3 points ago +3 / -0

I always enjoy the walk to a based neighbors house with new gun in tow, as it requires that I pass by the homes of so many douchebag liberals.

I can almost hear their inner thoughts. "Should I call the cops? No, then he'll know it's me!"

Yes.

I use Ballistol because it both cleans AND lubes, but it too can make you feel woozy if you're not in a well ventilated area.

2
LordoftheMorning 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hoppes is ok. I prefer CLP break free, or pro shot cleaner and finish with a final wipe down with military LSA medium weight oil. Birchwood Casey Barricade is a good spray and wipe product for storage.

2
linereddit 2 points ago +2 / -0

Shooter's Choice. Gotta hit the hard stuff!
