Unfettered democracy is always a mistake. We are a Constitutional Republic of the people, for the people.

Putting limits on those that are supposed to be serving us, makes it hard for them to be bought with millions of dollars and just become corrupt tools of the power elite, especially the bankers, who are able to print money for the cost of paper and ink. The U.S. Constitution limits powers and terms of service for elected representatives. Our Founding Fathers did not foresee how corrupt Washington, D.C. could become. Please notice that I did not have to slander you or your choice of words. Have a good day. We, the patriots, march on!

So, wealthy people will buying Justices if they are elected but not if they are appointed? Term Limits to limit corruption... elected or appointed. Limit amount of money used to buy your favorite politician... the same amount from an individual, corporation, or PAC. Best, no donations allowed to politicians but from individuals residing in the same state.
