https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6aM7WHm-NA&feature=emb_logo Looks very much like a Hellfire. From the destruction scenes, it looks like an explosion internal to the building.

It looks like it originates from the ground and goes UP... It goes without saying I'm no master of thermodynamics, ballistics, or other various air turbulence effects BUT could a missile produce a trail like that, almost looking like it's traveling opposite the direction of the projectile, due to humidity, velocity, or other factors?
That wikipedia article says the opposite. It's an air to ground missile used for destroying "high value targets".
EDIT: Oh, you were analyzing the footage, not the missile. Whoops!
No worries on the edit. The hellfire missile is an absolutely glorious weapon of justice. I can't believe 3+ people were able to run away from the pickup after impact. Whole lot of fire erupted from the explosion. Almost no concussive damage...
Good work Sherlock, this is a crap thread.
Thanks a lot, coach. Anything more constructive to add?
Need to see the top of the building to confirm if this was indeed a strike from outside and above.
Could that be the initial explosive detonating which initiates the primary explosion? Similar to a bullet primer setting off the gun powder to send the bullet?
Finding it odd that anyone would decide to film some random skyline, with the picture centred right on where an explosion is due.
Looks like they used an impromptu tripod as well.
Very strange
It could have potentially been a D.E.W. instead of a missile.
'their'? I am confused.
They're
This is incredible find !
