LOL you people don't even know what "vote by conscience" means. It doesn't mean you, a constituent, voting for the party like best in elections ROFL. It means MPs voting independently on legislation without a party whip dictating a caucus vote.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscience_vote

"Vote by conscience" makes no sense whatsoever in the context of individual citizens voting in elections. Because that's what every single person does when they case their vote - even the ones who are voting strategically, are doing so out of their own conscience.

I swear to god, the entire PPC crowd is a bunch of children who's never learned about politics before and are just now trying to figure it out. It's like every day I'm having to explain things to PPCers like minority governments, popular vote shares, confidence votes, the difference between motions and laws etc etc.

But by all means, piss your vote away and hand Trudeau another four years of rule over you.

How did voting for Scheer work out?

Better than how voting for bernier worked out.

Ackchually, the conservative party of Canada never voted for Bernier to compare/contrast. Specifically, he lost leadership to Scheer by two votes. People voting Scheer are simple ballot-checkers who'd blindly vote PC regardless of leader, while people voting Bernier left, many, alongside him. Losing Scheer would not lose votes, while losing Bernier did. So strictly speaking, NOT voting Bernier did not work out well for the Conservative Party, but we do not know precisely how much better it would have been had they done so.

Ham, I can see your veins popping from here.

He clearly stated it's best to vote with your conscience in order to sleep easy at night. Jesus.

Talking mad shit when you can't even comprehend a simple statement.

How do you sleep at night with the knowledge that you're condmeing this country to perpetual Trudeau rule?

That aside my point was that you PPC people are just politically illiterate, which explains everything. It's like trying to discuss electoral politics with kindergarteners.

Let's flip that one. How do you sleep at night knowing that you're voting for a party that has the same values as Trudeau, but only the name is different.

Your point is more full of shit over the usual shit you post. You're so dyed in the wool for a party that if tomorrow they told you, that they were merging with the Liberals you'd cheer it on because they "told you, it would moderate the damage that the Liberals are causing."

And your party is polling at 2%.

You should be ashamed of yourself for needing an adult to explain basic political concepts to you like some kind of child.

Honeslty how fuckign retarded do you have to be to think you can win an election with 2% of the vote?

This is why I suspect you PPC people are actually just Liberal astroturfers trying split the conservatives vote. Because that's a more plausible explanation than someone genuinely believing they can win an election with 2% of the vote.

Ok, win what? Zero seats? Technically true I guess.

Voting would be illegal if it made a difference.

I have to agree with this statement. I catch myself thinking "things will get better if we elect the right people" but even IF the right people exist in flesh and bone, the election process is likely 'fortified' to protect against representing the taxpayer.

With demographics the way they are in the US and Canada, even if you can win one or two more elections it won't last, we are past the tipping point. Succession is the only way now.
