Anyway, there are tons of bule (foreigners) here. Many ride scooters and motorcycles. Helmets are ‘optional’. Many riders are not wearing helmets but are wearing Covid masks (not masks to block out pollution). When I ride I generally use a helmet. It’s much safer.
Why would one be more afraid of Covid than having an accident on the motorcycle? Helmet or mask? Helmet for me.
That leftists have started to care about civil liberties means that normal people are united on this.
The more I read about this new police powers law, the clearer it is that we are all morally obligated to flout and challenge the enforcement of these laws.
The next step is that they are going to extend this to "special constables," who are basically deputized political police that are like jumped up bylaw enforcement, except with police level protections and none of the training. They aren't cops, even if they are legally "peace officers."
If there is any damage to the vehicles and equipment of these fake police, or resistence to their attempts to harrass or arrest people, I for one will see and hear nothing.
