Not sure what to think here. Pretty damn sure this isn't a red county finally getting the balls to tell the state to fuck off. And suppose they do secede, where do they go from there? Who exactly would ally with them?

Home to 2.1 million people east of Los Angeles, San Bernardino is the fifth-most populous county in California and the largest in the nation by area. It's physically larger than Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey and Rhode Island combined.

They’re seceding from California not The US

I know. That's what makes this weird. Again, clearly not a red county, so what exactly can they gain from this that won't hurt their base?

From what it’s seems like is the old school blue dogs apparently still exist in California and have enough pull in a county that keeps getting fucked by the state.

That just makes me wonder what's going on with the state of Jefferson proposal. If this is anything like that nothing will happen.

Fun fact: San Bernardino is roughly the size of West Virginia.

State of San Bernardino has a ring to it. What side are they on though?

The state of California, where justice is based on what gender you are!

Fuck that. You don't get to vote the current state government into power and then become a state of your own. Because there's plenty of counties that DIDN'T vote that administration into power who have a much more justifiable cause for leaving the state and becoming their own.
