What's her ideology? Was she as based as the previous president?

Novák, 44, is a loyal supporter of populist Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and formerly served as Hungary's youth and family minister.

Ok, so she pretty much sane but.

Better hope for a Hungarian Margaret Thatcher.

Even if they elected Thatcher's ghost she still couldn't be Hungarian Margaret Thatcher - the position of the president is mostly ceremonial, the important decisions are made at the PM level.

When it comes to matters internal to the country the President position is theoretically more powerful, than the PM. That theoretical power has not really been used, that is true.

Considering the alternative was apparently the candidate of a liberal, socialist, pro-EU coalition that's probably the better of the two choices.

Tulsi look-alike?

I wanted to write some details about how she is family-first, religious, patriotic, anti-immigration, pro-life, and so on.

But the only thing you really need to know is that all the local LGBT mafia came out against her.

She will be fine.

Female Leader. YIKES.

Rather fitting that the first comment I make after a month's ban is here.

youth and family minister

That, for people not familiar with Europe, is a minister for women. Some countries hide it under ministry for family and children, but they all serve the same purpose.

God help Hungary.

Women don't belong in industry or politics. All the men who voted for her should be ashamed.
