For those who didnt know, Steam lets you put developers/publishers on your ignore list. Just go to the their creator page, click on the little "options" wheel on the right and select "ignore".

I just did that before I saw this post, thanks for bumping it here.

I wish I hadn’t bought any Serious Sam games, but I won’t be buy anything from Devolver in the future.

I’m more and more convinced that the entertainment industry is too woke/big to fail at this point thanks to consumer stupidity. Well, back to my 9th playthrough of Half-Life, I guess.

Fall Guys

That can't be right. Epic own that IP.

Looked it up. Epic own the developer and full rights to the game when it goes free to play this summer. Devolver are fucked, it's their best seller and they get zero compensation from Epic Games.

Microsoft seriously needs to add more features to the Xbox store, because we don't get this.

80960KA 10 points ago +10 / -0

Isn't not getting features PC users have had for years just the console experience everyone loves?

TheImpossible1 5 points ago +6 / -1

No, it's the part where you can play a game without some dipshit scriptkiddie aimbotting you with his paid cheats.

At least, that's what pushed me to move back to console. I was sick of playing GTA Online and getting billions dropped on me, UFOs on my garage etc.

80960KA 9 points ago +9 / -0

In all fairness I mostly lost interest in multiplayer years ago, not so much cheating just too many literal 10 year olds.

TheImpossible1 4 points ago +4 / -0

I basically only play either multiplayer or non-story games now. I've given up on anything with a plot because it'll turn out feminist and awful.

80960KA 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah only games I really have any interest in still are like various sim/build type things and mechanics-focused stuff in the vein of From Software games.

TheImpossible1 3 points ago +3 / -0

For me it's mostly racing games and Fortnite. I'd like to play a soccer game, but EA. Not sure what to do when the next F1 game comes out as EA are making it. I've bought them every year since 2010.

Epic haven't gone feminist yet, so I still support them. I have too much sunk cost into their games to really boycott them anyway, I'd just be losing the money I already spent.

Lurker404 18 points ago +18 / -0

Ah well, couple of games off my wishlist. Thx for the info.

davidverner 18 points ago +18 / -0

How the fuck did Devolver Digital get conned into giving money to that conartist bitch?

CarmenOfSandiego 24 points ago +24 / -0

Threats of nudes being released.

Namely hers being sent TO them if they didn't comply. 🤮

Kalamander85 15 points ago +15 / -0

The same way others did, by not paying attention or doing their research

TheImpossible1 7 points ago +7 / -0

Honestly, probably blackmail.

TheImpossible1 12 points ago +15 / -3

Landfall, the people who made those YouTube bait "totally accurate (blank) simulator" games, right? I think I own one of them, from when they were hyped. I guess I'll add that to all the rest of the purchases I regret.

No idea who Devolver are.

Someone should make a tier list of developers, from the most woke to the least. It seems like they all are, so at least with a tier list, we could avoid the most egregious.

RussianAgent13 17 points ago +17 / -0

Devolver published some really nice retro-style games. Kind of a shame, but there's other fish in the sea.

Brennus 6 points ago +6 / -0

Their e3 presentations actually had a continuing story line from the previous year. So won’t be watching those anymore

FlauntandStraunt 9 points ago +9 / -0

Damn Devolver. The hell you giving money to that pile of failure.

DNA1 8 points ago +8 / -0

Piracy is the answer if you want to play their games. Easy. Problem solved.

TechParadox 7 points ago +7 / -0

Looks like Anita's coffers were getting low if she's running another grift like this. Damn shame, too. I still had a few Devolver games on my wishlist. Guess those are gone now.

Formerlurker92 3 points ago +3 / -0

And on the shitlist they go

GeneralBoobs 2 points ago +2 / -0

Devolve, how apt.

J_Darnley 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good. I will no longer get confused between them and Daedelic as to which one is on my blacklist because now both are.

PatriotPartyRising -9 points ago +3 / -12

We're the only ones who care. The majority of gamers 100% support this. That's why there isn't a backlash. There is no counter to woke propaganda. Our side is too pathetic and spineless to stand up for anything. Have fun jerking it to DOA Volleyball.

toxicbiofacts 27 points ago +27 / -0

The majority of gamers 100% support this.

Don’t mistake complacency for affirmation.

TheImpossible1 18 points ago +18 / -0

It's not complacency, it's lack of knowledge + lack of alternatives.

toxicbiofacts 12 points ago +13 / -1

Sure that too, but it's mostly complacency. Gamers overwhelmingly pick to play a male character when given a choice. The other guy mentioned DOA, which is a coomer game, but taking a look at Tekken 7, despite Harada adding so many female characters to appease weebs and SJWs and also despite the fact that most female characters in Tekken are quite hot, virtually nobody plays them: https://i.imgur.com/9HGTZBH.png

TheImpossible1 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm not the most experienced with fighting games, but couldn't it be because the male characters are better statistically?

toxicbiofacts 3 points ago +3 / -0

The stats are similar in most games:

The reason there isn't a backlash is because hardly anyone knows.

Also, I wouldn't worry about Devolver, their biggest seller is Fall Guys and Epic Games now own the developer. They will definitely take the publishing rights as well.

Imagine your company's best seller being made by someone else. Literally parasitic.

FlauntandStraunt 8 points ago +8 / -0

And Fem Freq is nothing if not parasites. Same with their shitty forum they plan are their shit invasions of games like their recent attacks on the Harry Potter game.

Booker 5 points ago +5 / -0

Devolver published Hotline Miami and a bunch of stylistic, super fun games I love. I hate this news.

TheImpossible1 3 points ago +3 / -0

That wasn't the same. It was a whine about dedicated servers, not an actual boycott.
