i am hijacking top comment because i'm late to this thread party, and I have to say.... same as almost EVERY other time some pop astrology article says theres an "alignment".... NO THERE ISNT
As you can clearly see, those planets arent "aligning" whatsoever.
Jupiter & Mercury ARE aligned with eachother at 18 degrees Aries.
Venus and Uranus ARE aligned with eachother at 13 and 16 degrees Taurus respectively.
Mars is at 1 degree Cancer.
So all 5 planets are most definitely NOT aligned at all.
I've said it many times, and I'll say it again! DO NOT believe every astrology article you read out of hand!!! They are often unbelievably full of shit. Learn to read an astrological chart for yourself so you never have to fall for this crap.
They say you won't be able to see these stars altogether in the night sky together for 17 years, and that's total horse shit. Neptune, Jupiter and Uranus are slow-moving planets, and they are all going to spend a lot of time moving along through the night sky. Mercury, Venus, and Mars are fast-moving planets and they will be back around again long before 17 years is up.
This article says they will be less than 50 degrees away from eachother. But do the math. Each sign is 30 degrees. That means the difference between the first planet and the last planet in this procession is about 70 degrees, not 50. They can't even get that part right.
Just had a text message that my friend's baby was born in the last few hours. Will be an interesting natal chart with all those planets bunched up like that!
saturn and neptune will be below the horizon by the time dusk happens, and the other planets will be "set" in the sky and not visible by midnight, only the moon and mars will be left visible.
This article is just talking about how these planets will all be visible at once in an "alignment", whatever that's supposed to mean... and you can only catch them all just after dusk.
As the sun is at 7 aries and neptune is at 25 pisces, neptune "sets" before the sun does by about 13 degrees, and that's about 45min before dusk. Saturn by then is long set, at 2 pisces.
I dont care what side of the political spectrum an article is coming from but once I see the word debunked I almost immediately tune out.
Here what they say is debunked is any theory planetary alignments can effect natural disasters on earth. By saying this they hope you dont connect the dots with their 'Grand Tack Theory" of the early solar system, the orbital physics of which massively influenced all of the planets to the point of changing orbital distance and Uranus and Neptune swapping places.
The cumulative effects of gravity in the solar system absolutely effects the earth as it does every planet. Pull the gravity all into a single line and the effects are amplified.
Jupiter orbits the sun exactly twice as fast as Saturn and they want me to believe that this doesnt effect the earth especially when the gravity of several other planets is added in. Yea go fuck yourself. Planetary geometry has a huge effect on every body in the solar system.
hehehehehe, he said yer anus
Did you know ... One Uranus day is 17 hours? Not making it up :)
beavis laugh intensifies

Astronomy articles are full of comms and can be written specifically for that purpose.
yea, im thinking this has to be comms too.

And Pluto just moved into Aquarius.
tee hee.
Its actually 7 planets - Saturn, Neptune Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Uranus, and Mars. They are all lined up to the west.
and if you look down, you can even see Earth
or Uranus? kek kek
so 8 planets! do I hear 9 ?
Nibiru.

17 years, you say?
That's a lot more than 2 more weeks : )
Don't need any tips on spotting Uranus.
I looked for Uranus the other night. Don't get too excited because you can barely see an aqua speck even through high power binoculars.
I've been waiting for Uranus to get in line. It's about time.
