It's a pretty fun game (play on PC only), and at two BC the game makes me its bitch constantly. Getting good rolls to get the gear I like is so conditional that it feels like the RNG is messing me up, when really it's that the RNG didn't give me enough of an advantage.

Every once in a while I'll pick it up to try and git gud but I give up after a few days of plateau skill level.

I am now trying to beat it on 1bc on mobile and it is rough. The little things you can get away with on normal get exposed right away. I found the Hand of the King really hard without an overpowered build. It took me a good 20 hours to achieve my first win and understand the systems that help you to succeed.

I can't imagine playing this game on mobile, at least not anywhere beyond 0 boss cells. I'm at 3 boss cells on PC using a ps5 controller and it's a great game, but I don't think I'll ever get farther than that.

One major key to a successful run, stick to a color. I like brutality red builds. Get a red bow and pair it with throwing knife to cause bleed damage.

Then look for secondary items that synergize with your primary weapons, for example look for items that do +40 damage when enemies are bleeding or some other such stat.

Great synergies like "enemies burn when they die" pair really well with oil synergized weapons which just melts enemy healthbars.

Play very aggressive. It is all about dealibg massive damage. I learned that as I played several runs and it made the game a lot more fun for me.

Raycevick did a video on this exact topic, actually. I would suggest steering clear of Bright Memory Mobile though or pirating it, seeing as it's by a Chinese developer backed by CCP government funding.

Already well aware of this game since one of the developers created the Haxe framework, which explains how it can run well on different platforms.

That is a major drawback to mobile gaming and gaming in general. China is putting their hat in that ring.
