Have you had any issues with keeping the finish? I find that some of my poly coated tables have the finish dissolving or wearing excessively from contact with alcohol and sometimes even human sweat in summer.

This is a first time for me so I guess I’ll find out. Are you triple+ coating? It does wear off over time, but from what I’m hearing it needs a triple coat at least.

I’m pretty sure I did 3 coats. That’s what the can said to do anyway. If I redo them maybe I’ll add some more coats for good measure.

It's like clearcoat, but for wood. Very nice finish.

Thanks! I’m impressed so far. I knew I needed some protection for pine getting that kind of traffic, but wasn’t expecting the visual impact. As the other commenter noted, I hope it stands up to the alcohol and general exposure to humanness over time.
