KJV 1611 is my personal favourite for the olde English prose and English translation taken from the oldest source material. It's probably closest youll get for English in that regard.

You must mean the authorized. The 1611 is almost unreadable because of the odd way things are spelled. The authorized is basically the same but instead they don't use "v" for "u" and they spell words how we would today

I have the one with the v for u. It's not that hard to read. But he didnt ask readability or anything. Just literal translations and KJV is as close as you can get to the Greek texts in English.
