Because the flu cases were laundered as covid, either intentionally or unintentionally.

Most doctors are giving a best guess for a set of symptoms. Covid has flu-like symptoms, so naturally, flu cases are recorded as covid.

Add in a highly inaccurate PCR test and you have 2020

Bacterial pneumonia caused by wearing dirty masks also contributed to the Covid numbers.

Besides the obvious scam angle, there’s the idea that some infections can interfere with others—viral interference.

The reason is that the CDC made a decision to not collect flu result data from doc offices this year.

Because all the flu cases were labeled COVID-19.

The 2019 numbers look low.
"Cases" were much higher.
That number looks more like deaths.

It goes to show masks, lockdowns, and all the other rules worked.

It certainly wasn’t the lockdowns, and the social distancing and the masks, right?

Yes, the flu went away because 99% of people wears masks, but covid didn’t go away because 1% of people don’t wear masks. Makes perfect sense dude!

I’ve heard that argument made unironically. They argument is that we are would have had millions dead (according to Neil “Booty Call” Ferguson). I’d like to see some numbers from different regions so we can determine any correlation between Covid and influenza and masks.
