I will post my idea once others have responded; I hate posting my idea initially only to have the topic only be about my idea.

Edit: I am loving these submissions! Excellent ideas, everyone! I am about to submit mine below.

Actually enforce the Bill of Rights for corporations as well as the government ‘The right SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.’ For example a corporation can’t deny your right to free speech and practice of religion, openly carry guns in a business / office, have your letters and effects (and internet/telecommunications) gone through without a warrant.

Bjorn_the_Black 4 points ago +4 / -0

If people can be sued for civil rights violations, and "corporations are people", then there seems to be nothing stopping someone from filing suit against corporations for civil rights violations.

So you would deny property rights. It is hypothetically my business and my property but I must allow you to carry your gun?

3
IdahoMan87 3 points ago +3 / -0

When corporations get to the point where they’re directly influencing Congress (and us by extension), they’ve lost the ability to pull the private property card.

Assassin47 3 points ago +3 / -0

Rights are for people. Corporations aren't people.

2
Rommsey 2 points ago +2 / -0

Various laws treat corporations as people but then never give them proper accountability for shit decisions.

GuyWhite 1 point ago +1 / -0

Mom & Pop shops are not a corporation.

1
Assassin47 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly. They should be allowed to operate freely.

2
GuyWhite 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes and prohibit ICKY and stupid people from their shops, ones carrying guns and tattoos and obese and stupid. Their property rights are superior to your personal rights.

Corporations aren't people.

Neither are the corporate identities used to trick mankind to live "in the name of" a certificated (at birth) legal (under the laws of men) dead entity. You are not your name; you were branded as such by those who suggest idols in exchange for consent to ignorance of self sustenance under natural law.

Rights are for people.

RIGHT, adjective [Latin rectus, from the root of rego, properly to strain or stretch, whence straight.] That refers to flow (the movement from beginning towards end aka from inception towards death); the same flow that defines the laws of nature for the form within.

All form has the "right" to be within flow, as we have the responsibility to sustain self by choice of action.

Copyright lasts 10 years. Period. Patents last 10 years after an inventor's death, and not a day longer. If an individual invents something, they own the patent. Not the company they work for. Those companies can have exclusive rights deals with their workers, but it's illegal for them to place the patent in the company's name, and the employee has to agree to a baseline percentage of profits off the patent for a set number of years.

End income tax. End inheritance tax. Move government finance to tariffs and services.

Abolish the health insurance industry. Encourage people to join healthcare cost sharing plans, instead.

Dissolve the FBI. Dissolve the CIA. Dissolve the NSA. Dissolve the IRS. Dissolve the ATF and the DEA. End Echelon.

End the Fed.

Trust bust Facebook, Google, Twitter, Disney, Time-Warner, Comcast, Microsoft, Apple and half a dozen other abusive, overgrown companies. Force them to break into their component pieces. Scatter them to the wind.

Pass Right to Repair legislation.

Ban abortion except in cases where the mother's life is in immediate jeopardy.

Set term limits for Congress.

Allow workers to offset their payment into social security by directly paying their grandparents and senior parents--cutting out the middlemen and saving millions.

End 90-95% of foreign aid. It's time we stop funding our enemies.

Constitutional carry everywhere.

At this point, I'd just be getting warmed up.

I tend to agree with a lot of what you said, except your first point. I believe the labor of your mind is just as important if not more so to the labor of your hands. If I can pass a peice of hand made furniture down to FAMILY for years, i should be able to do so with my ideas. I think after the idea is sold it should have a time limit, that I can agree with

2
JeremiahKassin 2 points ago +2 / -0

While I understand where you're coming from, and agree that the labor of your mind is important, ideas are qualitatively different than physical goods. The reason I want limits set is twofold:

Firstly, monopolies are built on patent and copyright hording. If we want to take big business down, we have to set a limit on the ability of businesses to isolate their competition from the market. If Walt Disney had had these limits placed on him, he'd be a moderately successful business man with some theme parks--not the founder of an empire that dictates the direction of culture through coercion. If a creator wants to prove the continued superiority of their product, they can continue to create. If their stuff doesn't sell as well as the knock-offs after their copyright expires, then they created something bigger than themselves and that ought to be reward enough. Writers, actors, directors and producers ought to make a living off their work, but to write one book and be set for life? That's valuing the arts too highly. And it's artificial.

Secondly, it reignites the market for ideas. No longer can a business function by squeezing money from a twenty-year-old property without searching out the best, newest and brightest iterations--which also means they can't afford to shackle the entertainment industry ideologically if they want to stay afloat. No one's going to buy a gay Captain America comic for their kids if they can buy the Christian version that promotes the ideas they want to foster in their children's minds. For every woke Star Wars film, there'd be a dozen Mandalorians--and each one would be a labor of love.

Maybe the limits I'd set are too harsh. Maybe a decade isn't long enough to profit from a work. And I would certainly set the date from the time of publication, either way. But limits are essential if we want to release the death grip the entertainment industry has on this country's conscience.

Copyright lasts 10 years. Period.

As form within flow one has the right to copy flow. We mimic what we perceive aka the flow that inspires us to sustain ourselves. The parasites labeled the suggested ignorance of that "copyright" to rub our ignorance in our faces.

They even went so far as deceiving us to consent to "intellectual property" ...INTEL'LIGENCE, noun (Latin intelligentia, from intelligo, to understand) aka our comprehension build upon what we perceive. Proper btw refers to the free will of choice to evaluate the perceived. And to really rub the selfish ignorance in; they suggest "Intel Inside" aka comprehension of exterior is processed within the interior.

Honestly the fastest fix is just to end women's suffrage.

Possibly tie voting to land ownership.

2

The Man Show did a thing on this (back in the days when Jimmy Kimmel pretended not to be a complete cuck).

They set up a booth asking people to sign a petition to end women's suffrage. They got a bunch of gullible people who didn't know what the word meant to sign it. It's fucking hilarious:

Carlton-Whitfield 5 points ago +5 / -0

I would start by enforcing black letter anti-trust laws against all industries, with a specific focus on big tech and the scam we laughingly refer to as our 'health care system'. I would use these laws to aggressively prosecute a few select people in each industry to serve as examples, before going after everyone else. These laws have been on the books for almost 100 years and they are routinely flouted by these modern-day robber barons and they need to be held to account for it.

Spiritual revival. This has been the only hope for the US for quite some time.

Nowadays, Christian/Biblical terms aren't appreciated as the radical terms they are. I'll give just one for now.

REPENT - to change one's mindset about something.

To understand the significance of national repentance, imagine if large numbers of those who endorse depravity/wickedness and shun goodness changed their mindsets about it. Or if those who were cowards repented of their cowardice. Or if those who were lazy/procrastinators changed their mindsets about labor.

Spiritual revival changes a country in a way that making new laws to suppress the unrepentant never can.

Invert the government power pyramid. Instead of the feds getting all the budget and distributing crumbs, cities get the majority of the money taxed by their citizens, followed by counties, then states, then the feds. Feds exist only to mediate quarrels between states and protect the states from foreign threats.

Federal government has gotten way to big, and influential. They are involved in all aspects of our lives. Same with corporations. What used to make the US great was that there were 50 states and all were unique and different. Now they are all just about the same. I took a road trip through half the country a few years back and it was so annoying every exit had the same fast food, the same hotels/motels, the same gas stations, the same strip centers with the same box stores. Since then I've learned if you seek out unique things they are still to be found, but it is disappearing very quickly and would be disastrous to lose it all. I am not sure HOW to make this happen (well the federal govt part is easy just remove everything but basic defense and treaties). If you could do this alone I think the US could return to someplace where people can be happy.

2
zeppelincheetah [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

My idea is probably the most radical and consists of the complete dissolution of the United States and replacement with a Holy Roman Empire-esque system.

Barron Trump would be appointed first of his name Holy American Emperor of the former United States, and his issue would rule in perpetuity. First born sons would replace their father or whatever the next of kin is. His domain of absolute rule would be limited to Washington, D.C. - the original square boundaries of the district and would have control and responsibility of the military in terms only of protecting and defending the territories of the former United States. Each new Emperor would be crowned by a bishop; the Catholic church in America would break all ties to the rest of the world and each state would be appointed by Baron a new Bishop (there would be a Bishop of Albany, Nashville, Sacremento, etc.). These Bishops would determine how God's law should be followed and would by themselves have no power to execute the laws. There would also be Dukes, who rule over every county in which a former state capitol exists. They rule in perpituity until an Emperor decides to replace them. All other individual counties would be ruled by Chiefs whom are elected for life by land owning men of the individual counties. Whenever a chief dies or resigns from power the county can elect a new one. No suffrage will ever be granted to those that are not land owning men. There will only be one right of these lands that may not be infringed - the right to bear arms.

Outlaw the following things: Abortion. No fault divorce. Leftist political parties. Universal suffrage. Cross dressing. Marriage between anything save a single man and woman. Islam. Facial piercings/ear discs.

Enact the following policies: Deportation of approximately 64 million people(we all know who). Anyone who attempts to violently resist the previous shall be subject to execution. A sentence of execution for any member of the judiciary that acts in a legislative manner with a court ruling. Appointment of Federal Senators back to the hands of the state legislature. Severe tort reform. Mandatory tariffs on all foreign consumable goods and manufactured parts. Lifetime tax credits for any female that bears three or more children.

NO political donors, and lobbyists are strictly regulated .

At the beginning of the election each candidate is given a fixed amount of money to conduct a campaign with and they must account for each and every dollar spent.

There will also be three debates that have two moderators of equal power with one chosen by each candidate in the debate.

There would also be a national voter ID card , if they think they can manage to make a national vaccine passport work then making a voter ID card work would be no harder.

And nationwide preferential voting for would be used for the presidential election and the electoral college and the threat of faithless electors would be done way with.

3 things

1 End birthright citizenship, hb1s, and enforce borders

2 school choice, busting teachers unions

3 make a 10 year limit on all forms of government service. Postal carriers on up

1
Assassin47 1 point ago +1 / -0

Get rid of the IRS and any head tax. Move towards voluntarism. (if you want to use a service that has a tax, that's your choice)

Alternatively we should get to choose ourselves what the federal government funds through some sort of survey where we fill in buckets. So someone could put military 100% education 0% or whatever.

1
ThunderSizzle 1 point ago +1 / -0

Roads. That becomes the number one debate. They want to institute a mileage-based tax for using roads, which would track you everywhere and how fast and haw far you drive.

And it fits what you said - a service that has a tax - but know you have no privacy or right of movement by automobile.

  1. Revoke the 17th Amendment. Senators appointed by the State legislatures.
  2. Term limits for all federal office holders. Two terms for Senate, 2 terms for Rep (change term of office to 3 years). May be elected one time to another two terms after a one term 'cool-off'.
  3. Actual civil and/or criminal penalties against individuals for violations of Constitutionally enumerated rights.
  4. Intellectual property rights, patents, copyright must be owned by individual(s). Not by corporations, expire at the original owner's death or 15 years whichever comes first.
  5. Eliminate the GCA and NFA
  6. Require corporations to track ultimate ownership (corp->holding corp->holding corp....). Any parent/final corporation ownership which has more that 66% market share is considered a monopoly and subject to anti-trust oversight.
  7. Voter ID is mandatory for voting in all federal elections and requires proof of citizenship. State elections are subject to the individual states' constitutions.
  8. Dissolve the Department of Education
  9. Any national security seals or redactions on warrants and/or investigations expire after 15 years (FISA Court).
  10. FISA court judge terms are limited to 3 years and one term.
  11. No foreign ownership (direct or indirect) of any media company base in the United States (see #6). No employee or contractor of a media company may receive remuneration or compensation directly or indirectly from any foreign entity.
  12. Any media company operating (publishing or broadcasting) in the US must prominently publish ownership and controlling board and management information (again, see #6).
  13. No entity other than living persons may donate to campaigns of those running for office. No single individual may donate more than the United States median income to any given campaign for office. An individual may donate the maximum to multiple campaigns.
  14. Separate advocacy groups from PACs. Any PAC must be single ISSUE (bill, citizen initiative, etc.) or candidate oriented and may only advertise relating to that issue. Once that bill, candidate, initiative outcome has been determined the PAC must prorata refund any remaining monies to contributors. Maximum donation subject to same contribution amount limits as #13 save that corporations or entities may make donations to issue or initiative campaigns only.
  15. Advocacy groups may be ongoing, but must publish their list of directing or controlling individuals (no corporations) and may NOT make direct monetary or in-kind contributions to any campaign which accepts money from PACs. Contributions to Advocacy groups subject to limits in #13.
  16. Implement flat tax rate on all income above the federal poverty level. Single rate regardless of type of income. Charitable deductions by individuals, no charitable deductions by corporations.
  17. Taxes based on residency
  18. Require any and all issue oriented federal grants to be block grants to the States.
  19. Any and all services offered as ongoing 'free services' to the general public to be subject to the 'public marketplace' rules and fall under the same Constitutional restrictions as applied to the government.
  20. Ban all federal or state aid of any kind to any nation which owns ANY federal or state bonds or debt, directly, via corporations with taxable entities or divisions in said country, or individuals who have RESIDENCY in said country.
  21. No federal or state elected official may work for a lobbying agency or become a lobbyist for 5 years after leaving office.

I'm sure I could come up with more, but that's my start.

Culturally we need to get rid of the gays and all the degeneracy that is going on. Christianity needs to be re-established and appreciated once again.

The US is like democracy: the worst, except for all the others. I love this country.

That said, if you were to give me dictatorial tyranny for a week like in the good old days of the 1770s, this is what i'd do:

  • A new Amendment changing tax from citizenship to residency
  • A new Amendment banning politicisation in schools for those under 18
  • A new Amendment banning authorship and distribution of malignant scholarship
  • A new Amendment forcing the Bill of Rights to apply to private property offered as a space designed to be inhabited by the public, including the workplace (criminal law already does)
  • A new Amendment barring anyone with a history of membership of any Marxist group from any form of office in a publicly-funded institution
  • A new Amendment forcing tech companies to disclose algorithms
  • Ban social media for under 18s, as they are designed like casinos
  • New laws to make it illegal to fire someone on account of a social mob campaign

Most importantly, i'd declare and designate "wokeness" and any other Hegel-inspired tyranny (e.g. 60s liberation, communism) as a pagan gnostic religion with a comprehensive description so it could be banned from public life.

Theoretically, i'd be tempted to revise 2A so the word "militia" is updated and "arms" is clarified to escape the argument it is about "muskets".

And theoretically, i think it might time for 1A to include two specific clauses:

  • freedom of religion, except when its practices are anti-constitutional and materially harmful to American life (goodbye, wokies)
  • freedom of the press, with a specific division about when that devolves into propagandizing and outright lies, also materially harmful to American life.

I’d make it illegal for any member of Congress to collect income other than their congressional salaries, during their time in office and for at least a full year once they’re out. I’d also require them to live in on-site housing, complete with curfews. Basically, they’d be living under the same restrictions as any junior enlisted member of the military. Restrictions like this would help ensure that only those actually dedicated to improving the country, would run for Congress in the first place. Take away the perks, and term limits wouldn’t even be an issue.

I’d disband all the alphabet soup agencies, along with the Dept of Homeland Security. The US Marshals should be the only federal law enforcement agency. Border Patrol isn’t needed either, they’re doing what should be the Army’s job.

Speaking of the military, I’d adopt a policy of international neutrality. No action or support unless we’re attacked first. We’d be able to downsize too, since the only peacetime responsibility would be border and port security.
